Vision Dynamics was started in 1981 by engineeers from a London Software and Systems house to supply computer vision systems for industrial product inspection. The first products were a framegrabber and a vision development system for the production of inspection solutions.

These days the company specialises in supporting OEMs, including the design and development of hardware and software for industrial systems, vision systems being just a part of the overall activity. All the company products are designed and manufactured in the UK and fully supported at all levels. We are also part of the Foresight Vehicle group collaborating in a number of projects.

Examples of our work include: The design and production of a continuous strip X-ray film scanner for digitising 300 mm wide X-ray film up to several metres in length with image processing software and CD based archiving and retreival. A specialist frame grabber operating on an image size of 1280 x 1024 pixels at a 30 Hz continuous capture rate

Apart from designing hardware and software, we also manufacture and we can supply small to medium volume requirements of up to several hundred units per year.
