The Cristal Video Pre-Processor is a monochrome digital signal processing system
intended for use in enhancing the signal of conventional video cameras when operating
under conditions of low light (bright moonlight), either to take advantage of their
inherent low cost, or to improve the performance of an existing system. The Cristal is
supplied as a stand-alone unit controlled by front panel switches, with the parameters
selected displayed on a Liquid Crystal Display. It may also be controlled remotely via
commands issued through an RS-232 port. PC based control software is included.
